About Dr. Figueroa:
Dr. Maria Figueroa is a General Dentist with more than 14 years of experience in a wide range of comprehensive dental services and has been part of the BronxCare Health System for the past 1O years.
She believes in educating and empowering her patients so that they can achieve their optimal oral health goals by taking the time to listen and understand her patient's needs and concerns in order to provide them with long-term stability and comfort.
Dr. Figueroa earned her Bachelor of General Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico. She then went to receive her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree (DMD) from the prestigious Univer sity of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus- School of Dentistry.
She went on to further her education and clinical experience com pleting a General Practice Residency Program at Bronx Lebanon Hos pital Center and the Nicholas Rango HIV Clinical Scholars Fellowship.
When she is not working, Dr. Figueroa enjoys spending time with her family, sports, home and garden projects. She lives in Yorktown Heights with her husband and 6 years old daughter.
